Nichido Tinted Brow Gel

Hey everyone! Glad to be back. I am here to review a brow gel.  You see, I am so much fund of brow products, be it pencil, powder, gel or mascaras.  For me, grooming and defining your brows makes one's face look younger since brows frame the face.

I will be reviewing the Nichido Tinted Brow Gel.  It comes in 4 shades: Brunette, Salted Caramel, Espresso and Ash Blonde

(pls. excuse the quality of the pictures. I used my celphone in taking pictures)

How to Depot Lippies

Hi everyone! I'd like to show what I just did this Saturday morning.  You see, I have a few lipsticks that have gone to the pan. But I noticed, there's more down under. So I decided to depot them and I'd like to show you how. Forgive the quality of the picture because I am just using my phone to capture what I did. First and foremost, you will need these things:

1. Candle
2. Match or Lighter
3. Small knife with pointed edge
4. Spoon
5. Lipstick
6. Empty Pans
7. Paper towel

So, here's what I did:

1. Scoop the lipstick down to its level and put it on the spoon

2. Place the spoon on top of the lighted candle. Make sure you're an inch or more away because the fire might char your spoon and this will destroy your lipstick once you pour it. Also, swirl the spoon to spread heat.

3. That should how your lipstick will look. Remember, do not bring it to a boil as this may change the composition of your lipstick. Once it is all melted, pour it to the empty pan and let it cool.

So there! I hope this would help you in depotting your lipstick. This is just a very short and fun process. Just be very careful since you are dealing with heat and fire ÜÜ

Haul: Ellana Minerals Makeup Brush

hi everyone! So I'm back again with another brush haul....yep, yep! brush again ÜÜÜ I am so, so obsessed with brushes but the good thing is, I am learning to control my obsession.

So anyways, I bought these two brushes from Ellana Minerals by "accident".  You see, I am always in search for powder foundation that doesn't give me breakouts.  I have heard of Ellana before and I have even got their free samples.  But I haven't really tried ordering foundation from them.  So, while I was browsing, my eye caught their brushes (BOOM!).  But I went back to their foundations first since that was the one I'm intending to buy.  After choosing the right products, I decided to go ahead and get myself brushes.  At least, I could save shipping by buying it now than buying it later.  I decided to order their flat top brush first.  When, I got my orders, unfortunately, the powder I chose does not suit for my skin because it was for normal to dry skin.  I, then, ordered for another powder foundation that suits my oily skin, and then again, I got myself another brush which is their round kabuki brush ÜÜÜ

So, here are the brushes:

the one on top is the round kabuki, while the one down is the flat top.

  Here's a comparison to the famous Sigma's F80

 (left: sigma, right: ellana)

And here's a comparison of Sigma's F82

Each brush costs P350.  It's light handed and soft on skin.  It didn't shed after first wash.  Another happy me ÜÜÜ so if you guys want to have these, just visit Ellana Minerals.  By the way, they have other kind of face brush too

First Look: Wild Peach Cosmetics Palette

Happy New Year everyone!!! How are you? I'm doing well. Still feel the same and very much thankful for the blessings that the Almighty has showered me and my family.  As for New Year's Resolution, I have never made one since (I don't know when) because I don't want to fool anybody especially myself.  I mean, resolutions are made to change you, right? But (not to sound conceited and all) I don't want to change myself except for the little things that I know doesn't really necessary needs any resolution.  I believe that if you want to change old and not so good habit, one need not have to wait for new year for them to do it, right?  Forgive me but it's just my own personal opinion ÜÜÜ

So anways, I'm just here to show to my recent online purchase.  And I'd like to thank Nikki of AskMeWhats for sharing to everyone in her blog.  I have been thinking of ordering a small size z palette but boy was I glad to see Wild Peach Cosmetics.  They have two sizes of palette, a large one, for professional MUAs, and a personal one for any makeup enthusiast.  So right away, I ordered from Charleen and after two days (could've been just one day if I payed right away ÜÜÜ) my orders have arrived.  Here's one:

After the bubblewrap, this was how it was wrapped.  I love that it's pink Ü

I ordered two personal palettes, black & pink polka dots and black & white polka dots. It has a glossy finish. It's dimensions are 5.4" x 2.8" x .3" for inner and 6.03" x 2.8" x 0.54" for outer.  Each palette comes with a sheet of wild peach sticker for those depotted makeup whose pans aren't made of tin.  Each personal palette cost Php280 plus shipping.

It comes with a brochure and an instruction on how to depot.  Overall, I am so happy with my purchase.  It's a perfect alternative for z palette.....oh, I forgot, the palette comes with a mirror too Ü

and counting....

Hi everyone!  I'm really glad to be quite more "active" in my blogspot.  I just hope that I could be more active especially it's yuletide season.  I would really love to share to you my thoughts and my involvement on any activities ÜÜÜ

Anyways, my hubby and I just celebrated our 7th year of marriage.  We actually got married twice (civil and church) but our civil marriage was the one registered.  We got married on December 8, 2005 and we had our marriage blessed on January 7, 2006.  We are now even blessed with two kids (both girls), 6 y.o and 2 y.o.

We I wanted to have a formal dinner to celebrate but then I thought, it would be nice to celebrate our day with the kids.  So, I booked an overnight stay at Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel.  But before going there, hubby (who just came from work) surprised me with a pretty bouquet and a post card (from his planner) with sweet words

He really amazes me.  I must admit, he wasn't that thoughtful.  He is (and is constantly) sweet but he was never the flowers and chocolates guy when we were just in girlfriend/boyfriend stage.  I only received a single love letter from him during those times.  But as years have passed, he kind of learn to go out of his "shell".  I just recently found out (from him) that he was under pressure looking for a present for my birthday (which is this month also).  Since I am so into makeups and brushes now, he admitted that he would spend 20 minutes of his lunch break to go to beauty shops or makeup stalls just to look for makeups or brushes that would make a great birthday present ÜÜÜ how sweet is that!!!  He didn't mind the weird and questionable look from salesladies whenever he asks something ÜÜÜ

So back to where we were, we celebrated at the beach with the kids.  Although it wasn't some posh beach resort here in Cebu but the smile on my children's face and moment we were there were priceless.

I am so glad to have found a man who, despite my flaws, still thinks that I am perfect in his eyes.  We may not be individually perfect but being together makes everything perfect.....Happy Anniversary my love and wishing and hoping to celebrate more anniversaries with you and the kids

my first BDJ Box

hi everyone!  I'm here to share to you the first ever box that I got for myself Ü  I have seen quite a lot of "boxes for subscription" but I was quite hesitant coz I might not find it worthy of.  But when I saw BDJ Box's site, I just got this feeling that this will be a very good try to subscribe.  Aside from the good reviews from other bloggers, the people behind BDJ box's beauty ministry are skilled when it comes to beauty, fashion and all that jazz ÜÜÜ see them here.  So without further ado, here is it!!!

The box came so fast.  After subscribing, the package arrived after 2 days.  Now that's fast!!!  I was even worried coz after paying thru paypal, I didn't change my delivery address from my house to my office.  I emailed them about it and they replied right away.  Talk about speed huh ÜÜÜ so anyways, here are the goodies that i got:

I really happy to see quite a lot of products for the amount that i paid....SO SO HAPPY!!!

So, for you out there, get yourself a taste or two of their box! ÜÜÜ

the rosey brush set

There are two other brush set.  The Dainty Brush Set (in purple) and Classy Brush Set (in blue).  Each brush set costs P1000 but for the next batch, these sets will cost at P1,200.

I chose the Rosey set because of these two:

two blending brushes

The Rosey Set comes with 2 blending brushes.  I am a sucker for blending brush and i prefered it than the eyeshader brush.

I love the brushes because it didn't bleed after washing it for the first time.  The brushes are all soft and have no funny smell.  As usual, transaction was smooth ÜÜÜ after paying, the following day, my brush set has arrived.  Ms. Rosenn has always maintained that (basing on my previous experiences) so kodus to her.

All in all, Beauty Cosmetics brushes are worth your money.....but hey, they aren't that expensive too.  So, go and get yourself one of their brushes.  I just have one wish from them, i hope they would open a Paypal account hehehe!!!

Thanks again Ms. Rosenn.  Will be buying more soon ÜÜÜ
