obsession

Today is another happy day for me.  I just got myself another brush....er, brushes, actually.  My hubby told me I'm no longer a makeup lover but obsessed with brushes...oh well, I just love them.  They gave a clean and flawless finish on my face, even when I'm starting to "grease".  Oh yes! I have a very (and I do mean VERY) oily skin....of course, associated with acne :(

Anywayz, while I was browsing for affordable brushes, I came to reach Coastal Scents, http://www.coastalscents.com/ , I know I'm quite late of discovering this brand but still happy that I found it ÜÜÜ  Then, I found these brushes that are on clearance sale.  But, my problem was the shipping.  The fee was more expensive that the items that I want to buy.  Luckily, my sister-in-law was on a 30day vacation in Canada.  When I checked the shipping fee, it was more than half lesser.....weeee!!! Was really glad.

To make the story short, my sister in law came back from her vacation and handed me these lovely (thanks again Ate O), inexpensive flat top brush...woot! woot!

So, here are what I ordered. First, a Bionic Flat Top Buffer

and, Destiny Short Handled Buffer

based on reviews, they're good brush and doesn't shed.  They're soft and one even said that it's better than Sigma's F80.

they sent me a freebie....I love freebies! (who doesn't????) weee!!! They sent me a sample size of mineral eyeshadow in smoochie.  It's purplish gray shimmer eyeshadow.  Love it! ÜÜÜ

and oh, they sent me a sticker that made me smile. My hubby said, I should stick  it on my car.  I don't know if he was serious or making fun of my "obsession" ÜÜÜ

I went to Manila last Monday for just a day.  I was invited by my cousin (whom i haven't seen for more than a decade) to witness him signing the roll of attorney.  It was a great honor because i didn't actually think he'd want me to be there since we haven't seen each other since we were kids.  So anyways, I took the 2nd (or 3rd) flight to manila via Cebu Pacific.  Because I was just staying for the day, we headed directly in Robinson's Place Manila to have lunch and chit-chats since it was just a walk to Supreme Court.  After which, we headed towards Supreme Court because my cousin's sched was 2:30.  When we got there, there we're still lots of "attorneys" waiting for their turns to go to the en banc session hall.  So, we waited there and until it was turn  to go in (we waited for an hour...oh well, Filipino time as they say).

After the signing and all, we went back to Robinson's to grab snacks.  I thought I'd buy myself some makeup for my "project".  While walking, I decided not to buy because I might be late for my flight.  Just as I was about to go out of the mall,  I found a stall with a familiar brand......BEABI!!!! I am so inlove with this shop the first time I stepped my foot on their store in SM-MOA.  They sell kinds of containers and I am such an addict for containers.  And to make it short, I bought a few stuffs :)

I love even their packaging.....here are what I got for myself:

this is a soap container but it can be be used for keeping your hairpins, rubber bands, etc...

I forgot what's this for but this is where i put my earphones because it's better (for me) than the one's (i totally forgot what's it called) with grooves and you roll your wire on to it....forgive me, but I really forgot how you call that earphone organizer......so anyways, the last two items that i got were these:

I got these lipgloss container with different applicator type....I bought some lipglosses from faceshop and I love them so much except for the their packaging....so, I'll be transferring them to this container.




My 8hour vacation in Manila was complete...having been able to see my cousin (by the way, he's my first degree cuzzo), being able to step foot on my employer's main office, and being able to buy things from beabi....HAPPY ME!!! ÜÜÜÜÜ

project

lately, i have been addicted to watching makeup tutorials on YouTube...it's really amazing how women can come up with such beautiful outcome in a very simple way....with that, i told myself to why not become like them.  BUT, there's one problem....makeup "accessories" can be too expensive.....but luckily, i have friends and relatives who are quite "supportive" with my "dream"...and so they sent me a few "stuffs" for my humble beginnings :)

a friend of mine sent me these beautiful brushes....i fell inlove right away by just looking at them.....owning these brushes is a dream come true....thanks janine :)

when i checked this online, http://www.sigmabeauty.com/, they were quite expensive for beginners like me....but then, these aren't something you will use for a short period of time hehehe! and oh, they gave me a freebie too...a blending brush....pretty!!!

in addition to this, my cousin gave me another "dream come true" eyeshadow palette.....

they are indeed pretty!!!! thanks jill for this.....this means, i'll be experimenting on these E/S and i'm quite excited now :) i hope i could create a great look with this :D

Dong Juan

my hubby and i loves to eat....if given the chance, he also loves to try cooking our favorite dish in a particular restaurant (and yes! he cooks really good! and unfortunately for him, i just prefer eating than cooking Ü )

one tuesday noon, we decided to eat lunch together at DONG JUAN

we went to the main branch which is in Guadalupe area....we ordered salad in vinaigrette sauce, sizzling pork chops, dong juan cheeseburger and two (2) ice teas....(my hubster is the one wearing in pink Ü)

their salad were to die for (it's actually our second try) and it's good for two servings...their pork chops is a must try too plus their gravy (who kinda' looked pale) tastes even right....still the same tastes from the first time we ordered (yes! we are returning customers of the same branch)....although, we were kind of disappointed of the servings....it used to be quite large....but still happy though....as for the burger (which we originally ordered for a bacon cheeseburger)....was delightful..."JUICY" is his (hubster) description.........but if you want to try to order their burgers, we suggest the bacon cheeseburger...it's simply scrumptious.


our next craving? TACOS, TACOS, TACOS!!!! any suggestion on who serves the best tacos in cebu?

i am a first time blogger and i don't have much to say....as of the moment....i am a married woman with two kids who i so much adore....lately, i have been fond of watching makeup tutorials and i'm thinking of becoming a makeup artist.  sounds ambitious but who knows...we might get there...anyways, i think this would be good for now......just want to try this "blogging" thing Ü
