How to Depot Lippies

Hi everyone! I'd like to show what I just did this Saturday morning.  You see, I have a few lipsticks that have gone to the pan. But I noticed, there's more down under. So I decided to depot them and I'd like to show you how. Forgive the quality of the picture because I am just using my phone to capture what I did. First and foremost, you will need these things:

1. Candle
2. Match or Lighter
3. Small knife with pointed edge
4. Spoon
5. Lipstick
6. Empty Pans
7. Paper towel

So, here's what I did:

1. Scoop the lipstick down to its level and put it on the spoon

2. Place the spoon on top of the lighted candle. Make sure you're an inch or more away because the fire might char your spoon and this will destroy your lipstick once you pour it. Also, swirl the spoon to spread heat.

3. That should how your lipstick will look. Remember, do not bring it to a boil as this may change the composition of your lipstick. Once it is all melted, pour it to the empty pan and let it cool.

So there! I hope this would help you in depotting your lipstick. This is just a very short and fun process. Just be very careful since you are dealing with heat and fire ÜÜ

Haul: Ellana Minerals Makeup Brush

hi everyone! So I'm back again with another brush haul....yep, yep! brush again ÜÜÜ I am so, so obsessed with brushes but the good thing is, I am learning to control my obsession.

So anyways, I bought these two brushes from Ellana Minerals by "accident".  You see, I am always in search for powder foundation that doesn't give me breakouts.  I have heard of Ellana before and I have even got their free samples.  But I haven't really tried ordering foundation from them.  So, while I was browsing, my eye caught their brushes (BOOM!).  But I went back to their foundations first since that was the one I'm intending to buy.  After choosing the right products, I decided to go ahead and get myself brushes.  At least, I could save shipping by buying it now than buying it later.  I decided to order their flat top brush first.  When, I got my orders, unfortunately, the powder I chose does not suit for my skin because it was for normal to dry skin.  I, then, ordered for another powder foundation that suits my oily skin, and then again, I got myself another brush which is their round kabuki brush ÜÜÜ

So, here are the brushes:

the one on top is the round kabuki, while the one down is the flat top.

  Here's a comparison to the famous Sigma's F80

And here's a comparison of Sigma's F82

Each brush costs P350.  It's light handed and soft on skin.  It didn't shed after first wash.  Another happy me ÜÜÜ so if you guys want to have these, just visit Ellana Minerals.  By the way, they have other kind of face brush too

First Look: Wild Peach Cosmetics Palette

Happy New Year everyone!!! How are you? I'm doing well. Still feel the same and very much thankful for the blessings that the Almighty has showered me and my family.  As for New Year's Resolution, I have never made one since (I don't know when) because I don't want to fool anybody especially myself.  I mean, resolutions are made to change you, right? But (not to sound conceited and all) I don't want to change myself except for the little things that I know doesn't really necessary needs any resolution.  I believe that if you want to change old and not so good habit, one need not have to wait for new year for them to do it, right?  Forgive me but it's just my own personal opinion ÜÜÜ

So anways, I'm just here to show to my recent online purchase.  And I'd like to thank Nikki of AskMeWhats for sharing to everyone in her blog.  I have been thinking of ordering a small size z palette but boy was I glad to see Wild Peach Cosmetics.  They have two sizes of palette, a large one, for professional MUAs, and a personal one for any makeup enthusiast.  So right away, I ordered from Charleen and after two days (could've been just one day if I payed right away ÜÜÜ) my orders have arrived.  Here's one:

After the bubblewrap, this was how it was wrapped.  I love that it's pink Ü

I ordered two personal palettes, black & pink polka dots and black & white polka dots. It has a glossy finish. It's dimensions are 5.4" x 2.8" x .3" for inner and 6.03" x 2.8" x 0.54" for outer.  Each palette comes with a sheet of wild peach sticker for those depotted makeup whose pans aren't made of tin.  Each personal palette cost Php280 plus shipping.

It comes with a brochure and an instruction on how to depot.  Overall, I am so happy with my purchase.  It's a perfect alternative for z palette.....oh, I forgot, the palette comes with a mirror too Ü
