NEW! Sigma's Beauty Expert - Brow Design Kit
Hi everyone! I am so excited to share this to you. Sigma has a new brow design kit
In the kit, you will find:
1. Scissors: specially designed with the perfect length and blade shape for trimming brows. Ideal for trimming long and out-of-place hairs.
2.Tweezers: the pointed and angled edge of this tool makes for easy removal of unwanted hair – a necessity for maintaining groomed and well-defined brows.
3. Brow Stencils (small, medium and large): achieve the perfect symmetrical brow shape! These durable stencils create a template made for easy trimming, filling and shaping of eyebrows. With three different sizes, there is a perfect match for everyone.
4. Duo-ended Brow Pencil (medium / dark): defines brows and adds color. This pencil applies product smoothly and blends easily. The medium shade suits light to medium hair; the dark shade is best for medium to dark hair.
5. Duo-ended Highlighting Pencil (matte / shimmer): perfect for accentuating the brow bone and defining the brow’s arch. Use the matte side to create a soft highlight; use the shimmer side to produce a subtle glow.
6. Pencil Sharpener: keeps brow pencils sharpened and well-shaped for a seamless
7. Brow Powder: creates full, natural-looking eyebrows. Builds further definition and intensity of eyebrows when layered on top of brow pencil application.
9. Dual-Ended Brow Brush (E80 wand/E75 angled brush): use the wand (E80) to brush through brows to target any misplaced hairs; use the angled brush (E75) to apply brow powder to any sparse areas that need filling in.

what's in my make up pouch
Hi everyone! I just wanted to share to you a few of my "goodies" which I bring everyday of my life. It's also one of the things that I cannot go out without it Ű my makeup pouch ŰŰŰ
This is actually a pencil case which I bought in SM department store. I like it because it's a see-thru pouch and it isn't bulky in my bag. Here are what's inside of it
It's just basic stuff ŰŰŰ
That's my powder, brush and a paper soap, incase I ran out of wet wipes or alcogel ŰŰŰ
That's my mascara from Avon, lip liner and an eyeliner for highlighting the inner corners or lower waterline of my eyes
A lipgloss and a lipstick
an oil control film (my everyday lifesaver) & nailcutter
My blusher/highlighter, tweezer and lash curler
This is the powder that I use. It's Avon's Smooth Mineral Powder Foundation. I've been using it for quite a while and it's really "friendly" to my oily and acne-prone skin ŰŰŰ
I used it together with my flat top retractable kabuki brush from charm (which I blogged here). I will soon be making a review a on this powder too since (as what I've said) I have been using it for quite a while. So I think it'll be legit to make one ŰŰŰ
These are my favorite lip product that I combine. It makes a natural-but-not-dull effect on my lips ŰŰŰ
First, I line my lips using Nichido's Lip Liner in Rosette
Then I dab unto my lips Ever Bilena's Lipstick in Mauvey
Then I put on Nyx's lip gloss
and then I'm done with my lips ŰŰŰ
For now, this is my favorite blusher. It's from James Cooper's Jazzy Collection. It's a liquid blusher. It gives a natural pink glow unto your cheeks. A little pump and it goes a long way ŰŰŰ
So there goes my beauty bag! Thanks for dropping by!

sharing: my beauty corner
last night, while i was reading some blogs, there's this two that caught my attention and gave me an idea to do the same too.....these bloggers were featuring their cosmetic drawer/closet and some collections. so, with a light bulb up in my head, i thought why not feature my beauty cosmetics too ÜÜÜ i am in no way showing off or bragging my things coz they're actually not something to brag about comparing to those lovely collections that i've seen on youtube and other blog sites.....i'm just sharing my humble collections which maybe might help people in starting their own too ÜÜÜ
so here's my humble vanity nook:
BEHOLD! MY 16 y.o. dresser ÜÜÜ
a few nail polish collection and an everyday must use (deo and lotion) ÜÜÜ
here are a few of my e/s shadow brushes which i still place in their plastic pack coz i think it's quite unsanitary to just leave them uncovered since i don't use them all together a day......the brush holder is actually a pen holder which i bought in a japanese store
here are the makeups that i use for special occasions and below are the brush sets that i randomly bought online
here are the makeups that i use every single day

♪♫♪ these are a few of my favorite things ♪♫♪
i just love brushes!!!! it's like they're my stress-buster....weird huh?? even by just looking at picture of brushes sold online, they make me feel happy ÜÜÜ most brushes......or maybe all of it were bought online. the sets with pink brush rolls are from Beauty Cosmetics (left) and Dollface (right). the ones on the jar are from Sigma. below the jar is from CoastalScents and the pink brushes on a black pouch is from Beauty Cosmetics which i blogged a few months back. Inside the container are some random face brush from bh cosmetics, coastal scents, mac, beauty cosmetics....so yeah! there they are ÜÜÜ
i'd like to share to my 16y.o. jewelry box....it was a graduation (high school) from my tita....and i love how it didn't fade even how old it's been with me.
so, there it is....again, this is not showing off my cosmetics and the likes but merely sharing to you my humble collections ÜÜÜ

Charm Retractable Flat Top Brush
hi everyone!!! i am back again after being absent for like forever ÜÜÜ been very busy lately since my little kiddo is in her elementary level and she was accelerated one level up because of the K+12 scheme..........adjustments are being made (whew!)
so anyways, i would like to share to you what i have recently bought online. i was really happy to have "discovered" this by just browsing. i actually promised myself to refrain from buying makeup brushes since i have quite a lot (a lot to me because i am just a make up lover and not guru or even an amateur one ÜÜÜ). so, while i was browsing, i came across Beauty & Minerals website. i saw that charm have new brushes in store....and wow!!! (with eyes wide open) i was glad to see they have a retractable flat top brush!!! it was so pretty...it reminded me right away of Sigma's Hollywood Glamour Kabuki - Miss Taylor. so, i placed an order right away, which really made me even more happy because i just know now that multiply accepts payment thru paypal. it gives me less hassle to go to banks or any remittance center.
i got my package after two days and boy was i soooo excited!!! ÜÜÜ i wasn't able to take pictures after i unpacked it coz i immediately washed it so i could use it right away ÜÜÜ so here it is:
i'm sorry i wasn't able to take a picture of the pink box....but yeah, it was placed in a pink box. when i opened it, there were a few (2 or 3) hairs that fell off. after it got dried, i noticed that there were hairs that "came out" from the bunch but no fret because it stayed intact. the brush is really soft but is also dense. it isn't scratchy on my (very oily and acne-prone) skin. it's very handy....and i love the color - fuschia pink and also, there was no strange smell (before and after) i washed the brush coz i have experienced buying a set of brush which had one brush that had a really bad, bad, bad smell (even after washing). oh by the way, the brush costs Php600 ÜÜÜ all in all, i super love it!!!
thank you sophie for creating this really nice and inexpensive brush Ü

beauty cosmetics makeup brush
hi!!! it's been a while ( a very while) since i last blogged.......and i'm quite excited to be back. i'll be reviewing a makeup brush (maybe i should be saying makeup brushes ŰŰŰ)....it's actually my first time to make a review so i hope this will do good ŰŰŰ
recently, i have been so "hooked" on to buying makeup brush especially the flat top....i don't know! they just give me joy ŰŰŰ so, while i was browsing on to some sites, i came across, Beauty Cosmetics , an online shop who sell nice makeup and brushes. they have makeup palettes, individual brushes and brush sets, their version of beauty blender and brush guard, etc....what caught my eye was their flat top brush which they compared to the Sigma's F80. so then, i ordered it and received the package the following day....amazing!! ŰŰŰ and here's what i got:

i immediately compared it to Sigma's F80 and it's the perfect dupe!!!! i got this for P400.00. it's good for beginners and for personal use too. it didn't shed the first time i washed it and it still didn't shed after using it (i use it everyday).
because i was so impressed with the brush, i decided to buy the Beauty Cosmetics 8pcs synthetic brush set
the set comes with a man-made leather pouch and everything costs P950.00....i got a 10% discount (and so with the individual flat top brush) for using a coupon code. these brushes didn't shed too after i washed it.
all in all, i was so happy with my purchases. their brushes are affordable but are oh so great ŰŰŰ so for those beginners who would want to own a Sigma F80 but doesn't know where to buy or maybe find it quite expensive to buy (Sigma's F80 is $16 plus shipping), Beauty Cosmetic's flat top brush is the perfect dupe for it ŰŰŰ and oh, the seller (Ms. Rosenn) is super nice and accommodating.
til next time.....stay happy everyone ŰŰŰ

shutterbug
Before I got pregnant with my second daughter, I also tried being the "one behind the lens". I joined a group so I could be more familiar with apertures, white balance and other "what's-this-and-what's-that" on my dslr. So, here are two of my favorite shots that I made when I joined a photoshoot in SRP
I'm no longer a photo-enthusiast now, like reuniting with the group, but in my own little way (and my little knowledge), I do some clickings too.
Here's a few snaps of my eldest daughter and my friend taken last year
