Review: Practk® Power Blender

Hi Everyone! Happy to be here again for another review.  And I am crossing my fingers that I would be consistent in posting blogs for you even after this situation.

I am here to review another beauty product that has satisfied me and is worth the time writing and reading about it.  This is the Practk® Power Blender.

But first, a little overview of what Prackt® is.  Prackt is a sister company of Sigma.  They offer exceptional beauty products that are simple and practical.  Their prices are more affordable compared to the sister brand but offer the same quality.

Review/Comparison: Sigma F80 Air Flat Kabuki

Hey hey hey!!!! It has been a long time.  I know, I know, not just a long time but VEEERRRYYY long time.  I haven't been blogging because work has been "clingy" and kids are getting big and you know, as (Filipino) parent, we need more time on them especially with school and other matters that has to do with growing up......I already have a teenager, by the way.  So now that Philippines is on Enhanced Community Quarantine, I plan to catch up on (a lot) of posts and reviews.

Today,  April 1, 2020, marks the 3rd week of staying at home due to COVID-19.  I hope that this "unseen enemy" will leave or I hope that scientists and researchers have already found a cure.  It's sad to see posts on social media that some of our soldiers (frontliners) in the hospitals have fallen fighting this enemy and helping the affected.

So anyway,  I am here to review and make comparison on Sigma's F80 Flat Kabuki and Sigma's F80 Air Flat Kabuki.  I posted on my instagram page that there will a blog soon, but.......sorry!  Took a long time to write this.  I bought the Sigma F80 Kabuki brush on a set last 2012 because I wanted to be a "makeup enthusiast".  I love Sigma, they are expensive but they last long.  Plus, of all the brushes, flat top kabuki is my top favorite.  So when Sigma released their F80 Air Flat Kabuki, I decided to get one and see the difference between the old one.

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share this to you.  Sigma has a new brow design kit

In the kit, you will find:

1. Scissors: specially designed with the perfect length and blade shape for trimming brows. Ideal for trimming long and out-of-place hairs.

2.Tweezers: the pointed and angled edge of this tool makes for easy removal of unwanted hair – a necessity for maintaining groomed and well-defined brows.

3. Brow Stencils (small, medium and large): achieve the perfect symmetrical brow shape! These durable stencils create a template made for easy trimming, filling and shaping of eyebrows. With three different sizes, there is a perfect match for everyone.

4. Duo-ended Brow Pencil (medium / dark): defines brows and adds color. This pencil applies product smoothly and blends easily. The medium shade suits light to medium hair; the dark shade is best for medium to dark hair.

5. Duo-ended Highlighting Pencil (matte / shimmer): perfect for accentuating the brow bone and defining the brow’s arch. Use the matte side to create a soft highlight; use the shimmer side to produce a subtle glow.

6. Pencil Sharpener: keeps brow pencils sharpened and well-shaped for a seamless

7. Brow Powder: creates full, natural-looking eyebrows. Builds further definition and intensity of eyebrows when layered on top of brow pencil application.

  • Bella: creates a soft, subtle and slightly warm brow. Ideal for light to medium blonde hair.
  • Chloe: adds a tint of auburn to any brow color for a softening effect. Ideal for strawberry blonde to light auburn-hued hair.
  • Scarlett: a universal shade made to sharpen and enhance any brow. Ideal for dark blonde to medium brunette hair.
  • Natasha: makes for well-defined and evident brows. Ideal for medium to dark brunette hair.
  • Valentina: produces a strong and bold effect to achieve the most intense brows. Ideal for dark brunette to black hair.
8. Duo Brow Gel (clear/tinted): this lightweight gel keeps brows in place all day.  Use the clear gel for the most natural look or the tinted gel to provide added color and intensity.

9. Dual-Ended Brow Brush (E80 wand/E75 angled brush): use the wand (E80) to brush through brows to target any misplaced hairs; use the angled brush (E75) to apply brow powder to any sparse areas that need filling in.

The Brow Design Kit is now available at $69

sharing: my beauty corner

last night, while i was reading some blogs, there's this two that caught my attention and gave me an idea to do the same too.....these bloggers were featuring their cosmetic drawer/closet and some collections.  so, with a light bulb up in my head, i thought why not feature my beauty cosmetics too ÜÜÜ i am in no way showing off or bragging my things coz they're actually not something to brag about comparing to those lovely collections that i've seen on youtube and other blog sites.....i'm just sharing my humble collections which maybe might help people in starting their own too ÜÜÜ

so here's my humble vanity nook:

BEHOLD! MY 16 y.o. dresser ÜÜÜ

some random stuff that i use everyday

a few nail polish collection and an everyday must use (deo and lotion) ÜÜÜ

here are a few of my e/s shadow brushes which i still place in their plastic pack coz i think it's quite unsanitary to just leave them uncovered since i don't use them all together a day......the brush holder is actually a pen holder which i bought in a japanese store

here are the makeups that i use for special occasions and below are the brush sets that i randomly bought online

here are the makeups that i use every single day

♪♫♪ these are a few of my favorite things ♪♫♪

i just love brushes!!!! it's like they're my stress-buster....weird huh?? even by just looking at picture of brushes sold online, they make me feel happy ÜÜÜ most brushes......or maybe all of it were bought online.  the sets with pink brush rolls are from Beauty Cosmetics (left) and Dollface (right).  the ones on the jar are from Sigma.  below the jar is from CoastalScents and the pink brushes on a black pouch is from Beauty Cosmetics which i blogged a few months back.  Inside the container are some random face brush from bh cosmetics, coastal scents, mac, beauty cosmetics....so yeah! there they are ÜÜÜ

i'd like to share to my 16y.o. jewelry box....it was a graduation (high school) from my tita....and i love how it didn't fade even how old it's been with me.

so, there it is....again, this is not showing off my cosmetics and the likes but merely sharing to you my humble collections ÜÜÜ

project

lately, i have been addicted to watching makeup tutorials on YouTube...it's really amazing how women can come up with such beautiful outcome in a very simple way....with that, i told myself to why not become like them.  BUT, there's one problem....makeup "accessories" can be too expensive.....but luckily, i have friends and relatives who are quite "supportive" with my "dream"...and so they sent me a few "stuffs" for my humble beginnings :)

a friend of mine sent me these beautiful brushes....i fell inlove right away by just looking at them.....owning these brushes is a dream come true....thanks janine :)

when i checked this online, http://www.sigmabeauty.com/, they were quite expensive for beginners like me....but then, these aren't something you will use for a short period of time hehehe! and oh, they gave me a freebie too...a blending brush....pretty!!!

in addition to this, my cousin gave me another "dream come true" eyeshadow palette.....

they are indeed pretty!!!! thanks jill for this.....this means, i'll be experimenting on these E/S and i'm quite excited now :) i hope i could create a great look with this :D
